This Privacy Policy ("Policy") explains how Alois Marketing ("Company," "we," "us") collects, uses, and protects information provided or collected through the WE-RO platform (web and mobile) at we-ro.com.

The Company is the controller of personal information collected through this platform.

1. Information We Collect

(1) Information provided by users

When you sign in with Google, we receive:

— Email address (for account identification and login)

— Google profile name (for display purposes)

When you use the service, you may voluntarily provide:

— Posts, comments, and wiki article content

— Uploaded images

— Votes (like/dislike)

(2) Information collected automatically

— Device information: browser type, operating system, device identifier

— Log information: IP address, access time, pages visited

— Cookies and similar technologies

(3) Method of collection

Through Google OAuth authentication, website usage, and automated collection tools.

— Providing community services (board, wiki, comments)

— Detecting and preventing unauthorized or fraudulent use

— Service providers: Supabase (database and authentication), Vercel (hosting), Google (OAuth). These providers process data on our behalf under contractual obligations.

4. Cookies and Automatic Data Collection

(1) What are cookies

Cookies are small text files sent by a web server to your browser and stored on your device. They help us recognize returning users and improve your experience on the platform.

(2) How we use cookies

We use cookies and similar tracking technologies for the following purposes:

— Authentication and session management (essential for login to function)

— Usage analytics via Google Analytics 4 (GA4): pages visited, session duration, device type, and traffic source. Data is anonymized and aggregated.

— Search performance monitoring via Google Search Console, Naver Search Advisor, and Bing Webmaster Tools: these tools collect data on how our pages appear in search results, including click-through rates and indexed pages. They do not collect personal information that identifies individual users.

— reCAPTCHA (Google): used to distinguish human users from automated bots. Google may set cookies as part of this verification process.

(3) Third-party cookie policies

The analytics and webmaster tools listed above are operated by third parties (Google, Naver, Microsoft). Their data practices are governed by their own privacy policies. We do not control what data these third parties collect through their tools.

— User authentication is handled by Supabase with encrypted storage (AES-256)

— Row Level Security (RLS) policies restrict unauthorized data access

— Uploaded files are validated for type and size

— Input content is sanitized to prevent XSS attacks

7. Children

WE-RO does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 14 (or the applicable minimum age in your jurisdiction). If we discover that a child has provided personal information, we will delete it promptly.

8. Data Retention and Deletion

— Accounts inactive for 6 months or longer will be automatically deleted along with all associated personal information.

— You may request account deletion at any time through My Page.

— Upon deletion, personal information is destroyed without delay, except where retention is required by law.

Records retained as required by Korean law:

— Records of contract or subscription withdrawal: 5 years (Act on Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce)

— Records of consumer complaints or dispute resolution: 3 years (Act on Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce)

— Log records and access tracking data: 3 months (Protection of Communications Secrets Act)

9. International Data Transfer

Your data may be transferred to and processed in countries outside of Korea through our service providers (Supabase: US, Vercel: US). We ensure appropriate safeguards are in place to protect your information in accordance with applicable data protection laws.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. If significant changes are made, we will notify users through the platform.
